2011, 2012 Bali Tour and Details

Bali Octoberfest, 1 - 9 October 2011 - a quick visit to join the Ubud Readers and Writers Festival- voted the world’s best writers festival 2006

I have scheduled a mini one week tour starting in Kuta for a two night recovery, a dip in the ocean, a sunset cliff top kecak (monkey) performance, a seafood beach BBQ and a ‘Dancing Fingers’ Massage.

Then it is up to Ubud via the Birds park for a Wednesday mountain bike adventure with Wayan- ending up in his family compound for the best smoked duck – mostly downhill cycling through villages alongside rice paddies (little traffic) and then Thursday the festival begins

A land cost of just $1600 twin share - (single surcharge $750) - which pretty much covers everything, including breakfasts, evening meals at my favourite haunts with local beverages, transfers, the mountain biking, a massage, a pass to the festival- (excludes special events and these are yet to be advised and are usually pretty special).

Flight availability is limited so you will need to be fast to secure a seat.

A two week tour travelling from the Southern Coast into the mountains of Munduk to The Ubud Readers and Writers Festival and over to a fishing village in the NE.

The tour land cost is $NZ3995 on a twin/double share basis – includes accommodation, transfers, local transport, group activities, classes, breakfasts and evening meals with local beverages and a pass to the Ubud Readers and Writers Festival and one special event of your choice (single surcharge $NZ1000) Flights will be booked on Singapore or agreed selected airline and the cost will be the best price on day of booking.

Activities include rice trekking, mountain biking, fishing, snorkelling, cooking class and a massage and more... much more.

Bali Bonanza 27 May-9 June 2012

A two week tour travelling from the Southern coast into the mountains of Munduk,to the artist’s town of Ubud and over to a fishing village in the NE.

The tour land cost is NZ$3500 on  a twin/double share basis – includes insurance, accommodation, transfers, local transport, group activities, classes, breakfasts, and evening meals with local beverages.  (single surcharge $1000) Flights will be booked on Singapore airlines  and the cost will be the best price on the day of booking.

Taylor-made Tours 2012

Mary is happy to lead private tours to Bali with activities Taylor-made to suit the group- for a minimum of 4 persons. Previous Taylor-made tours have included a reunion of women who last travelled together in a VW van in Europe in 1978, groups of friends, birthday tours and family reunions.

Taylor-made means exactly that and Mary is currently investigating a possible wedding in a palace.
